The Yale Club of Utah will gather to make sleeping mats for the unhoused, refugees, fire survivors, and volcano victims. Made of plastic grocery bags, they create a 40 degree warmth factor that can save lives. The mats will be donated to the non-profit organization Stitching Hearts Worldwide, headquartered in Pleasant Grove, Utah, for distribution.

  • This activity is family friendly (recommended age is 8+ for children) and open to all Yale alumni, current students, and parents of current students in Utah, as well as their family and friends.
  • Things to bring: Plastic grocery / shopping bags from home AND scissors
