Sarah Halley Finn, CSA

Sarah is an award-winning casting director of more than 100 feature films in every genre.  Known for casting the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, she has also earned recognition for the groundbreaking cultural sensations and multiple Oscar-winners Black Panther, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, and 2006’s Best Picture, Crash. Those three films also all won the prestigious SAG Ensemble Award and earned her the Casting Society of America’s highest honor, the Artios Award for Outstanding Achievement in Casting. 

Sarah’s collaboration with the MCU originated with the very first picture, Iron Man. After completing 22 films in the last decade she is now focused on finding talent for the upcoming projects. She recently finished The Eternals and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings for Marvel and is currently working on their entire Streaming slate for Disney +.

In 2019, she cast 4 out of the top 5 grossing films in the world – Avengers: Endgame, The Lion King, Spider-Man: Far from Home and Captain Marvel. Her recent releases involve collaborations with Joe and Anthony Russo — Mosul premiered at Venice and was shot entirely in Arabic, and Extraction, features a large Indian cast alongside Chris Hemsworth, is currently on Netflix. In addition to working on several seasons of The Mandalorian with Jon Favreau, she has several independent films in the pipeline for which she is also a producer, and Black Widow will premiere in November.

A graduate of Yale and member of AMPAS Executive Committee, Sarah has served on Women in Film’s executive board and is a founding member of #TimesUp.
