Rosette Nguyen

Rosette Nguyen, Yale College ’88, is an entrepreneur, who started cooking at an early age by helping her parents in their home kitchen. For her, cooking has been a joy born out of a nurturing instinct and a love for creating art guided by science.
In the fall of 2021, she launched the book Wholesome Vietnamese Cooking as a best-seller in three cooking categories on Amazon.  Her book has earned multiple international recognitions, including Winner of the 2022 Next Generation Indie Book Award in the Lifestyle/Cooking/How To/ Home Category, Finalist for Best Overall Design among all non-fiction nominated in the same award program in 2022, and Finalist in Non-Fiction for the 2022 Hoffer Book Award.  These are among the largest international award programs in the world, established to honor independently published books of exceptional merit.

An Applied Math major at Yale with an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Rosette delights in drawing insights from research and data to inspire and guide transformations not only in the kitchen, but also in public and private sectors. She has spent most of her career at high-tech companies, where she has guided strategy and execution to bring advanced technologies to customers worldwide, including companies of all sizes as well as health care providers, governments, and educational institutions.  She currently serves as an advisor to start-ups and a YaleWomen Council member.
