The Yale Alumni Association Board of Governors is pleased to welcome nine new members to the board for a three-year term starting on July 1, 2023.

“I am so pleased to welcome this diverse and engaged group of alumni to the board,” said Weili Cheng ’77, executive director of the YAA. “Their expertise will assist the entire board as they continue to support alumni initiatives, recognize volunteers, and build the volunteer leadership pipeline for the university as a whole.”

The board and its committees meet regularly throughout the year to set the direction for the association and to hear updates from university leadership. Members work through committees like “Equity and Inclusion” and “Alumni Communities” to develop and support programs and events.

The Alumni Association is thankful to the seven board members whose terms are ending on June 30, 2023, including Anna Barry ’98 PhD, J.C. Calderon ’92 MArch, Lydia Cristobal ’16 DNP, Wendy Maldonado D’Amico ’93, Stephanie Grilli ’80 PhD, Randy Helm ’70, and Judy Tom ’87.

The entire alumni community is encouraged to get involved with the board by nominating yourself or a fellow alum when the nomination period opens in January.
