The 2021 Yale College Reunions are just a few weeks away, a celebration of all classes ending in 1 and 6 that promises to be memorable and unique.
This year’s reunions will be exclusively online, June 4-5, with programming tailored to each individual class. The Yale Alumni Association has partnered with a leading virtual event provider to offer a comprehensive online experience that extends this year’s reunions to all alumni, including those who may not otherwise be able to attend the traditional in-person event.
“We will of course miss welcoming everyone back to campus this year, but we’re very excited for everything this year’s program has to offer the different classes and our guests who will be tuning in from around the world,” said YAA Executive Director Weili Cheng ’77. “The pandemic has been isolating for so many of us, so we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to bring alums back together to reminisce, reconnect, and celebrate.”
Helping to enhance the online experience is the Yale College Reunions Virtual Celebration Kit. This series of digital add-ons, designed by the YAA and open to all alumni, includes Yale Reunions Zoom backgrounds, Zoom and Snapchat lenses, Instagram stickers, and Facebook frames.
“Reunions are our favorite time of year,” said Karen Jahn, YAA senior director, Yale College Classes, “so we wanted to do everything we could to make this as fun and inclusive as we could for all in attendance. We’re very excited to welcome everyone and hope to make this online reunion a memorable one.”
Registration is required for reunions. For more information, please visit the Yale College Reunions homepage.
