Biography

Elizabeth Hung is an obstetrician/gynecologist with Scarsdale Medical Group. She received her medical degree from the Robert Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, and completed her residency at North Shore University Hospital/Northwell Health. While she misses obstetrics, her focus now lies in women's health, especially in empowering young women through educating them about their reproductive rights and wellbeing.

At Yale, Hung was in Ezra Stiles and received a B.S. in Biology in 1997. She was a member of the Yale Symphony Orchestra. She then received her Masters of Public Health from the Yale School of Public Health in 1999.

Hung has served as an Alumni Schools Committee interviewer over the years to share her love of Yale with a potential future generation of students. She served as a YAA Delegate from 2021 to 2024 and joined the YAA Board of Governors Nominating Committee, which provided the perfect opportunity for her to reconnect with other alumni and to learn about more volunteering opportunities.
