Biography
Jason Green is a Maryland-based attorney, entrepreneur, and leading voice on community, social innovation, movement politics, and economic opportunity in the era of automation and AI. Before co-founding SkillSmart, an employment enterprise built to match job-seekers’ skills with the needs of employers, Jason spent years in public service, most recently as Associate White House Counsel to President Barack Obama on legal, economic and domestic policy matters. He served as National Voter Registration Director on Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign and remains an active community leader in his hometown of Gaithersburg, Md. Green is also a documentary filmmaker, focused on giving voice to community. Jason is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and earned a law degree from Yale Law School.
