Sudip Mukherjee is an assistant vice president and wealth management advisor at Merrill Lynch in Jericho, New York. His duties include helping manage the finances for nonprofit organizations, small businesses and families by guiding them to articulate and achieve their financial goals. As an extension of this work, he hopes to share his skills to enhance the the lifelong Yale experience through greater engagement among alumni, and between alumni and students.
Since 2015, Mukherjee has been on the board of Yale.nyc (the Yale Alumni Association of new York), where he served as a YAA Delegate and is currently vice president. As a club officer he has helped to lead the effort to extend the organization’s reach to the outer boroughs and Long Island by boosting alumni participation and events in these regions. For the Yale Day of Service he has worked as both a site leader and coordinator for projects on Long Island. He has long been a dedicated interviewer for the Alumni Schools Committee, a role that allows him to tell applicants about Yale’s unique opportunities, values and character.
Since earning his MBA in 2004, Mukherjee has been a member of the reunion committee for his Yale School of Management class. He is a member of the Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance, and served as an advisor to the YANA Roundtable from 2013 to 2017. He is currently in his first year on the YAA Board of Governors.
