May 30
1:30PM – 2:30PM
Sprague Hall | Room: Concert Hall — 470 College Street
We graduated at the end of Yale’s first year of co-education, a month after the first Earth Day, a year after the Stonewall Riots, and less than a month after May Day. The concerns of that time – environmental crisis, women’s empowerment, racial, ethnic and gender equity, and America’s global military presence – still confront us, as economic inequality continues to increase and the pace of the computer/internet revolution speeds up our lives. With Edward Landler, Llewellyn Miller and Miriam Mills as moderators, a panel of classmates will lead a discussion about our part in this fifty-year history and how we can make a difference in what we face today.
