Getting to New Haven
For the most comprehensive information about travelling to New Haven, please go to Yale’s Visitors Gateway, a site which includes campus maps. Free reunion parking will be available, with Reunion Shuttle service to and from central campus. More information will be provided with registration packets in late winter.
Tweed-New Haven airport, offering jet service from US Airways, is the closest to campus (10 minutes by taxi or reunion shuttle). Bradley International Airport is just north of Hartford and the New York area airports include:
The Hartford and New York airports are accessible by the airport shuttles which bring travelers to a central campus location. Advance reservations are required and made on an individual basis.
Parking This Year: Pierson-Sage Garage on Whitney Ave. is not available for reunion parking due to nearby construction.
For day and overnight visitors, YAA has arranged for free parking at the Science Park Garage at 300 Winchester St., located west of Prospect St.
Science Park Garage will be serviced by the Reunion Shuttle beginning at 1 pm on Thursday and continuing until 2 pm on Sunday.
For more details, please see the campus map and search for “Science Park Garage;” the map is powered by Google and you can enter directions from your location.
Parking on the street is subject to meters, ticketing and towing, and Yale lots have either limited or no access. There are a number of public lots and garages around campus, but be sure to check for rates and operating hours as not all are open 24 hours a day.
The YAA Reunion Shuttle service, which begins on Thursday afternoon at 1 pm, covers our five reunion hotels; at other hotels, you will be responsible for transportation to and from campus. The shuttle also serves Science Park Garage at 300 Winchester Avenue.
