Reunion Code of Conduct

Yale seeks to create a vibrant community, in which all members are treated with respect and feel welcome to make their voices heard.  All alumni and guests, when they register for and attend Reunion Weekend, affirm that they will abide by the standards of conduct for the Yale alumni community, refraining from the actions set forth below. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Threatening and/or discriminatory language or actions aimed at any member of the Yale community, including alumni, guests, staff/faculty, and students.
  • Harassment/Stalking/Intimidation/Discrimination
  • Theft
  • Willful Property Damage
  • Trespassing
  • Possession of Weapons, Drugs, or Other Prohibited Items on Campus
  • Drunk and Disorderly Conduct
  • Compromising Campus Fire Safety or Security
  • Other Illegal Activities
  • Ignoring posted signs, staff instruction and directions, and/or other forms of campus and reunion communications.

All reunion attendees are expected to behave appropriately and respectfully when engaging with Yale staff and students.  Any behavior, tone, or topics that are deemed to be unacceptable and/or inappropriate by Yale personnel may result in action being taken against the offending party(-ies).

The Yale Alumni Association and Yale University reserve the right to suspend services to and/or exclude from the campus any person whose inappropriate behavior adversely affects the safety and well-being of any University employee, student, guest, or invitee.
