The New York Urban Debate League creates equitable access to academic debate opportunities with a focus on students of color and students from other historically underserved communities in New York to empower the next generation of diverse, informed, and courageous leaders.

Judging Sessions:

Wed, January 26th from 2:45-5:30pm: District 7 middle school tournament (Virtual)

Sat, January 29th from 9-3:30: Middle school tournament in partnership with The Middle School Quality Initiative (Virtual)

Sat, February 12th from 9-4: Open League Tournament for Middle & High School (Virtual)

Volunteer judges have the unique opportunity to shape the student's tournament experience which directly affects their likelihood to continue the activity.
