Cradles to Crayons (C2C) provides homeless and other children from low-income families essential items they need to thrive–at home, at school and at play–from birth through age 12.

How to Support C2C: Help sort and assemble donations at The Giving Factory on 5/13/23 during any of our three 90-minute shifts from 10 AM - 4 PM. If you can, please bring some donations with you to The Giving Factory: Most Needed Items or Other Accepted Items

Who Can Participate: Yalies, their family members, and friends are all welcome to volunteer. Children ages 5-17 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire shift. Only pre-registered volunteers (see below) will be allowed inside The Giving Factory. Registration must be completed 24 hours before our service on 5/13/23.

Important Info on Age: 

• Adult Volunteers Ages 18 or Older - must register themselves. Please forward/provide the Shift Link info to each adult who wants to volunteer with you.  
• Child Volunteers Ages 5 thru 17 - must be registered by their parents or legal guardians who should fill in each child's information and answer "No" to the question "Are you over 18 years old?"

REGISTRATION (2 STEPS)

• Register yourself and any guests/children through the Yale Day of Service registration.
• Register with C2C as outlined below, and pick a shift.
  • C2C Registration - First review the Important Info on Age above. After that, you, your family and friends must use the links below to register for specific shifts at The Giving Factory on 5/13/23. 
  • C2C Shift Registration - Select the 90-minute shift when you want to volunteer: 
    • Shift #1 - Click on/use this link to register for Yale Club 10-11:30 AM
    • Shift #2 - Max 15 Volunteers - Click on/use this link to register for Yale Club 12:30-2 PM
    • Shift #3 - Click on/use this link to register for Yale Club 2:30-4 PM

Directions and Parking: The Giving Factory is in a large complex with ample parking. GPS Directions and more detailed info available online.

• Note: Enter this Business Complex from 2680 S Abbottsford Ave or 2781 Roberts Ave; it is not accessible from Wissahickon Ave.
