Biography

Mena CammettMena Cammett ’09, MBA ’12 is an international trade and development professional dedicated to helping companies function in challenging environments while making a positive impact in developing economies. As a Senior Risk Management Officer at the World Bank Group's Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), Mena analyzes economics, politics, and governance in emerging markets to provide investors with political risk guarantees against expropriation, political violence, currency transfer risks, and government breach of contract. She is also responsible for measuring the economic development impact of investment projects in the local community and host-country.

Prior to joining MIGA, Mena was a Risk Manager at XL Catlin Political Risk & Credit Insurance, an Associate in PwC’s Anti-Corruption and Corporate Intelligence Practice, and a Geopolitical Intelligence Analyst at Ergo. She has also held Analyst positions at the US Government's Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) and a think-tank focusing on investment climate issues in Cairo, Egypt. In her spare time, Mena serves on the board of the Yale International Alliance (YIA) and enjoys travel, exercise, and community service. Mena has an MBA and an undergraduate degree in Middle East Studies, both from Yale University, and has studied Spanish, French and Arabic.
