Class of 1952 70th Reunion - Program & Schedule - 1952

May 26 - 29, 2022

Dear Class of 1952,

We welcome the news that the 70th Reunion of the Yale Class of 1952 will be held IN PERSON, and you can now register. Our reunion headquarters will be at Jonathan Edwards College.

The Council felt strongly that, while previous 70th reunions have ended with a Saturday lunch, we should have a Saturday night dinner, especially for people who have come from distances across the country. All reunion expenses will be covered by the YAA or our class treasury. Your only expense will be travel plus your hotel room.

While on campus housing is not available for the 70th Reunion, the YAA has reserved a special block of rooms at the nearby Omni New Haven Hotel. Reunion transportation shuttles will be available from the Omni New Haven Hotel. Please email Jennifer Cruz at jennifer.cruz@yale.edu for a reservation code.

So, the tentative schedule is as follows:

Friday, May 27th

During the day, we will have the opportunity to participate in Class of 1957 programs or Yale sponsored activities. Dinner, just for our class, will take place in the Presidents Room at the newly renovated Schwarzman Center.

Saturday, May 28th

Breakfast at JE- we would have separate tables for our class.

Morning at Yale activities for all classes as at past reunions.

Lunch at JE with separate tables for us. In the afternoon, we can have our own program (options being considered), participate in 1957 programs, or just hang out with classmates. At 5, we go with all classes to hear President Salovey. Dinner, just for our class, will take place at the Omni Hotel on the 19th floor overlooking the New Haven skyline.

Sunday, May 29th

Farewell breakfast in JE.

Register Now to sign up for the reunion.  Also, please refer to the Program & Schedule tab for the full schedule of our Class Program.

Please note that the YAA reunion website now requires a log-in to register. Do read the instructions carefully and understand that you will need to create a new password to continue into the site. If you need assistance with this process, please email reunions@yale.edu.

Please note, the reunion will adhere to whatever health guidelines Yale will have in place at the time of our reunion. For continued updates on guidelines and other important information, visit the reunion website.

Obviously, you can participate as much or as little as you like but this should be a great opportunity to spend quality time with your classmates. We hope to see as many of you as possible to make it a great success.
