Registration is Open!
Dear Classmates & Friends,
We are delighted to confirm that registration for our long-delayed 50th reunion, LXX et Veritas, is now open. Please click on the Register Now! link on this webpage to sign up. We can assure you that it will be worth the wait. While the pandemic has taken a toll on all of us, we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible for what promises to be a most memorable weekend.
Details on the schedule are available by clicking on the Program and Schedule link on this webpage, but first we want to make sure you know that finances should not be a barrier to attending. Anyone requiring assistance can contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 203 436 8014 for a confidential conversation. Surviving partners of Class members are welcome to attend and your housing fees will be waived. Please email or call Jennifer to make arrangements.
We’ll kick things off on Thursday night with a special class concert by Tom Rush in Sprague Hall. On Friday our classmate Jim Fishkin, a noted professor at Stanford, will share his insights on the state of democracy in America based on his widely-published innovative research. On Saturday we’ll be treated to a presentation by two of our Pulitzer Prize winning classmates, Ron Chernow (the man who helped make Alexander Hamilton a Broadway star) and Garry Trudeau of Doonesbury fame, who will talk about their creative adventures in print, on stage, and on screen. We’ll rock out to Plastic Visitation on Saturday night and wrap up the weekend with a memorial service for our departed classmates on Sunday morning.
In between there will be plenty of time to catch up with old friends (and make some new ones), enjoy copious amounts of good food and adult beverages, and enjoy a number of special University-wide programs that will be available on Friday and Saturday mornings. To top it off, we’ve devised a special swag bag that you will not want to miss. So...now is the time to contact your friends and make your arrangements. See you in a few weeks.
