Class of 2015 5th Reunion - 2015 Five Year Reunion FAQs

June 9 - 12, 2022

2015 Five Year Reunion FAQs - You've got questions? We've got answers!

  • When is the reunion again?
    • Reunion is from Thursday May 28th to Sunday May 31st, 2020!

  • What’s the itinerary for reunion weekend? Are there events planned?
    • Yes! The reunion chairs & attendance captains are hard at work planning the reunion weekend. We’ll be sending a more detailed schedule within the next few weeks. From a high level most of the programming will be taking place Friday afternoon, all day Saturday & Sunday morning. There will be some events planned Thursday evening for those who arrive early. We recommend arriving either Thursday afternoon or Friday morning and plan to depart Sunday afternoon.

  • Is the reunion free to attend?
    • No, while the reunion is subsidized by both the university as well as our class treasury, there will be a cost to attend. We are working to keep costs as low as possible to ensure the reunion is affordable for everyone. We are also coordinating closely with our class officers and the YAA on subsidizing costs.

  • How much will reunion cost?
    • Reunion tickets will vary in price depending on how many days you wish to attend. For those who wish to attend all 4 days of the reunion, final ticket prices will likely be somewhere between $260-$280. Please note that should you choose to stay in campus housing there is an additional charge, also based on the number of days you wish to attend. One Night/ $103, Two nights/ $127, Three Nights /$149. These are fixed prices per bed, not per room.

  • What does my money go to?
    • Registration fees go to offset the costs of things like Yale Catering, Equipment Rentals (think tents, lighting etc), Events and Labor Costs (student clerks, security etc),for the whole weekend. Housing costs go directly to Yale Campus Housing to prep the college and all the rooms for the reunion.

  • Can I stay with my old roommates/friends if we’re paying for on campus housing?
    • Yes, the easiest way for you to room with your friends is to have one person purchase the number of beds needed for the entire group. This will guarantee that the group will be housed together. It’s important to note that all parties staying on campus must be registered for the reunion. You can purchase the beds when you go to register for your reunion.

  • When can I register for reunion?
    • Registration will open in early March and will remain open until Tuesday before the reunion at 5pm at which point it will close briefly and reopen again to accommodate walk-ins at 1pm on Thursday.

  • I forgot to register, can I still attend?
    • Yes, classmates who arrive for reunion weekend without having registered can still attend but will have to pay a higher ticket price for the weekend.

  • I’m married to/dating someone who did not attend Yale or was in a different class and I would like to bring them to reunion. Are plus ones allowed?
    • Yes, plus ones are allowed! You will need to register and pay for both yourself and your plus one when completing registration.

  • Do I need to bring my own pillow, sheets, etc if I’m staying on campus?
    • No, these will be provided for you and are covered by the fee paid for reunion housing.

  • I can’t afford to attend but don’t want to miss the reunion, will financial aid be available?
    • Yes, you can find more information about financial aid here

  • Will I be asked to donate even after I pay to attend?
    • Yes, our 5th reunion will be an opportunity to fundraise on behalf of our class for the university. You may hear from classmates who are working on the Reunion Gift effort and see them while you are at the reunion. Just as with the reunion class gift, you can choose to donate to other various aspects of the university. It’s worth noting that this reunion is subsidized in part by our class treasury, so any donations made to our class (ie. class dues) will go directly towards subsidizing future reunions.
