About the Yale International Alliance Conference on Global Citizenship
The Conference on Global Citizenship will be held March 13-14, 2020 in Rome, Italy at the Westin Excelsior and will focus on the global citizen as a leader — in the arts, business, social sector, politics, and more. Through panel discussions, keynote addresses from leaders in the field, curated talks from new voices, and networking in and with Yale’s diverse international communities and global partners, we will explore questions including:
- How can artists create change alongside their art?
- What does it mean to be a global citizen in the face of climate change?
- How do businesses continue to drive innovation and global economic growth while ensuring that the most vulnerable are not left behind?
- How can global citizens promote civic engagement and help their government work for all?
