YAA Q&A: Melia Bernal ’17, ’23 MSN/MPH knows life is a marathon, not a sprint

After undergoing a life-saving liver transplant, Melia Bernal ’17, ’23 MSN/MPH decided to celebrate. For Bernal, that meant celebrating her physical and mental strength by running her first marathon — which just so happened to be the New York City Marathon, one of the largest running events in the world.
