Yale Day of Service Thriving in 2022

Approximately 1,000 volunteers have already taken part in 2022 Yale Day of Service, buoyed by the return of in-person service opportunities and the annual celebration that was held this year on May 7.

This year’s Yale College Reunions were unlike any other, with 22 classes ranging from 1952 to 2017 returning to celebrate over three wonderful weekends. And by all accounts, the return to campus was a complete success.

Marina Belica and Julie Flanders met as first-year roommates. Years later, they remain best friends and creative partners. Here, they tell us how Yale brought them together and discuss their latest project, The Worldwide Choir of Return to Me.
