      In partnership with the Seven Canyons Trust, members of the Yale Club of Utah will gather on May 7th to pull weeds and restore the south bank of the Mill Creek Confluence.

      What to wear:

      • work gloves
      • closed toe shoes
      • long sleeves
      • long pants
      • hat

      What to bring:

      • water
      • sun screen
      • bug spray

      This activity is family friendly (recommended age is 8+ for children) and open to all Yale alumni, current students, and parents of current students on the Wasatch Front.

      Please RSVP by May 1st so we can give Seven Canyons Trust an accurate headcount.

      The Yale Club of Utah will gather to make sleeping mats for the unhoused, refugees, fire survivors, and volcano victims. Made of plastic grocery bags, they create a 40 degree warmth factor that can save lives. The mats will be donated to the non-profit organization Stitching Hearts Worldwide, headquartered in Pleasant Grove, Utah, for distribution.

      • This activity is family friendly (recommended age is 8+ for children) and open to all Yale alumni, current students, and parents of current students in Utah, as well as their family and friends.
      • Things to bring: Plastic grocery / shopping bags from home AND scissors

      About Stitching Hearts Worldwide: Stitching Hearts Worldwide provides service opportunities for individuals, groups, and businesses wanting to help those in need. The organization offers caring volunteers the necessary tools and materials to make handmade essential items for those who suffer from natural disasters, human injustices, and unforeseen tragedies beyond their control.
