The YAA works closely with class reunion chairs to plan a reunion schedule that includes activities and programming for children and adults alike so all may enjoy their time on campus.
YAA programs for all alumni and their families include Saturday’s “Morning at Yale,”which provides parents with a number of lectures and tours suitable for children or planned especially for them; the Family Festival on Saturday afternoon (May 25 only), with carnival games, a climbing wall, and other entertainments at the Payne Whitney Gym; and the Celebration of Yale Singing on Saturday afternoon.
Child care is offered on the first weekend of reunions (May 21-24). The YAA contracts with Bright Horizons Family Solutions, a professional child care provider, to offer "Camp Bulldog," a supervised program on Friday and Saturday, for children ages 4 months to 8th grade. With four age groups (infant, toddler, pre-school and school-aged), optional meals and three sessions to choose from, you can enjoy worry-free time at your reunion knowing your child is in the care of Bright Horizons.
Sessions are offered on Friday evening, Saturday morning, and Saturday evening. You may sign your child up for one or all sessions, for an additional fee per child.
*Please Note* - Space is limited and pre-registration is required! Camp Bulldog reservations are made when you register for your reunion in March and must be received by Monday, May 11. No exceptions or accommodations can be made after the May 11 deadline. This popular program has been filled to capacity in previous years, so reserve your child’s spot early!
Bring Your Own Babysitter
Some parents make plans to bring their own babysitter to campus. Reunion and housing fees for babysitters are the same as for other guests.
