Class of 2004 15th Reunion - Travel & Accommodations 2

May 23 - 26, 2019

Class Programming

The YAA works closely with class reunion chairs to plan a reunion schedule that includes activities and programming for children and adults alike so all may enjoy their time on campus.

YAA Programming

YAA programs for all alumni and their families include Saturday’s “Morning at Yale,”which provides parents with a number of lectures and tours suitable for children or planned especially for them; the Family Festival on Saturday afternoon (May 25 only), with carnival games, a climbing wall, and other entertainments at the Payne Whitney Gym; and the Celebration of Yale Singing on Saturday afternoon.

Camp Bulldog

The YAA contracts with Bright Horizons Family Solutions, a professional childcare provider, to offer “Camp Bulldog,” supervised programming for children on Friday, May 24 and Saturday, May 25 only.
**Space is limited, registrations must be received by Monday, May 13.

Sessions are offered Friday evening, Saturday morning, and Saturday evening for children ages 4 months to 8th grade, with children divided into four age groups: infant, toddler, pre-school and school-aged. You may sign your child up for one or all sessions, for an additional fee per child.

Camp Bulldog reservations are made as part of your reunion weekend reservation.  Space in Camp Bulldog is limited and pre-registration is required. In previous years, this popular program has been filled to capacity, so reserve early!  Space is limited, registrations must be received by Monday, May 13.

Who:  Camp Bulldog is open to children from four months of age through eighth grade.
Where: Reunion child care services are provided in the Payne Whitney Gym, including the new Lanman Center and renovated Lee Amphitheater.
Hours: 4 pm - 11:30 pm, Friday and Saturday nights, as well as 8:30 am - 12:00 pm on Saturday.  The sign-in/sign-out desk will be open all day.  We hope children attend entire sessions, but they can join in at any time.  We ask that each child be checked in and out by the parent that dropped off and received a numbered matching bracelet with their child.  Plan a few minutes at drop off to sign in and get your security bracelet.
Fees: the Camp Bulldog registration fee is $90 per child for full or partial attendance.  Your child must also be registered for the reunion during the sessions they will be attending.  Please include payment with your other reunion fees on your Class reunion reservation.
Meals: While parents have the option of picking children up for dinner at their reunion headquarters, Friday and Saturday dinner are served.  Two age-appropriate dinners are included and will be served at 6 pm.  A nutritious snack is offered as well as water and juices made available throughout the day.  Food allergies should be noted on the registration form.  We are a nut free event.
Emergencies: We will use your cell phone to reach you in case there is an emergency with your child during the weekend.  Please make sure to include on the registration form.
Waitlist & Cancellations: Occasionally, due to the popularity of Camp Bulldog, certain sessions will hit their maximum.  If that happens, you will receive notification on your registration receipt and reunion confirmation.  We cannot guarantee your child will make it off the wait list for that session.  If a spot does become available, you will receive an email.  Cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing to the YAA prior to May 14.

If you have additional questions about child care at reunions, please feel free to contact the YAA at or (203) 432-2110.  For Child Care Operational Questions Jodi Chevarella, (203) 606-0523.  Click here for more information.

Bring Your Own Babysitter

Some parents make plans to bring their own babysitter to campus. Reunion and housing fees for babysitters are the same as for other guests.
