Dear ’59 Classmates, class widows and friends:
Join us on May 23-26, 2024 for our 65th Reunion of all Reunions!
A weekend to share old and new times, visit old haunts and new campus scenes, with special Class of 1959 program events not to be missed including "Fireside chats” with Prof. Guido Calabresi and Anne Applebaum on Friday afternoon, and a Dick Maltby/David Shire Revue on Saturday afternoon. Yale Dining Service will provide delicious meal offerings throughout the weekend. Widows are invited to be our special guests and to share in our class memorial remembrances, before Friday evening dinner.
To make your reunion planning go smoothly:
Make hotel reservations prior to Jan. 24
• Rooms are being held as a block for our entire class at the OMNI Hotel (Former Park Plaza corner of Temple and Chapel) and New Haven Hotel. To be assured of a room, make your reservations prior to Jan. 24 through this form. The YAA will be collecting our reservations and sending them over to the hotels prior to the main reunion hotel blocks opening. As a reminder, there is no on campus housing in JE. If you are unsure yet of attending, we encourage you to book a hotel room now as they can be cancelled at no penalty prior to April 22nd.

Reunion Registration will open in early March

On campus May 23-26
• Our 65th reunion headquarters will be at Jonathan Edwards College (JE). You may pick up your Reunion packet (with a swipe card giving access to all reunion events) starting on Thursday at 2pm.
• Special Class of 1959 events are planned within walking distance of JE, following lunches on Friday and Saturday. Shuttle busses will be available at all times serving hotels, JE and other campus events. The Weekend Schedule below outlines the full schedule of our Class Programs.
Authors and artists/photographers
• JE has a splendid art gallery. Artists and photographers are invited to hang one work for viewing during the reunion. Authors are invited to donate one book for display and perusal on a book table in the Art Gallery. Even if you are not able to attend the reunion, we would still like to see your latest oeuvre. Send a signed copy to Don Watson, 54 Larkspur Dr., Trumbull CT 06611 and it will be proudly displayed. After the reunion, all books will be donated to J.E. Library.
Our 65th is a time of celebration, to reengage with campus, to reflect and be grateful for the Yale experiences that we have shared. We look forward to welcoming you back to campus.
Sincerely,
Class of 1959 65th Reunion Planning Committee
