We are kicking-off our re-vamped mentorship program. Last year we held a speed mentoring event. This year we are taking a different approach. For our program, instead of matching mentors with one or two mentees, we are going to let that happen organically, to promote more interactions and opportunities to learn, share, and connect. The goal is for each mentee and mentor to make meaningful (and ideally lasting) connections with multiple alums. Throughout the evening you will have formal and informal opportunities to meet other alums, to discuss either career areas or to chat about career paths. We hope that these conversations will continue long past the event in the days and weeks to come, and help you meet like-minded Yalies in the area and grow your professional network. Registration is $15/person (includes c/c fees) Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. PLEASE COMPLETE THE SHORT QUESTIONNAIRE UPON REGISTERING. Thank you! The concept is to have a panel of people with different experiences provide candid views of various careers that Yale students and alumni pursue, particularly those subject to myths. Artificial Intelligence has become a highly visible growth field with many segments and diverse opportunities. For the panel on April 18, we have four panelists, all Yale alumni, with diverse backgrounds. Our panel will try to provide a window on the field and what one should consider when contemplating a career in Artificial Intelligence. The panel discussion will be conducted at 114 Fifth Avenue, 8th Floor in front of a live audience and will be broadcast via streaming video as well. Yale students and alumni are welcome to attend in person or watch and ask questions via the interactive streaming video system. After the panel ends, there will be a networking hour where we will serve wine, other beverages and snacks and you will have the opportunity to talk to the panelists and meet the other Yale alumni and students.
