Parking: Self parking is available under Fountain Square (accessible by Walnut or Vine - $1 to $5), or a variety of nearby garages. Please note that street meters are enforced through 9 p.m.

Join your host, Alex Sherriffs '74, at Weaver Lake Trailhead, Big Meadows (90 minutes from Fresno) for a family friendly day hike into Jennie Lakes wilderness. A favorite!!!

Bring your picnic lunch (and a bathing suit?) for the lakeside.

7.2 miles, 1100' elevation gain.

(4.2 miles, 810' gain if you are able to access alternate dirt road trailhead at Fox Meadow...)

Zoola Zoola! Join us for an afternoon stroll through the National Zoo. Ashton Megli ’18 and Rebekah Silezar ’18 will be providing snacks and non-alcoholic drinks for a picnic break.

Come celebrate Labor Day with a fun picnic in a gorgeous park! Look for the Yale banner near the Water Tower Observation Deck. We can’t wait to see all of you!

A few seasoned Yale alumni and community ambassadors (look for their blue ribbons!) will be on hand to address your questions about social life, amenities, basics (groceries, neighborhoods, etc.), volunteering, plugging into the scene, and becoming a part of the leadership of our community. There will be some brief remarks at 6pm and 7pm about local resources and how to connect. Also, expect a fun networking game (bring some business cards if you have them)!

Academy Museum Trip! Come meet other Yalies in LA and learn the history of cinema in this town at the Academy Museum!

Your host, Erin Wright ’99, owns a craft rum distillery 15 minutes outside of Philadelphia. Join Erin at Striped Lion Distilling! Erin will provide light snacks and will have drink specials. Striped Lion Distilling has a laid-back atmosphere, stop by and enjoy some hand-crafted rum cocktails...if you close your eyes, you can pretend you're somewhere tropical!
