We will be working off-trail on uneven terrain and slopes and occasionally around small streams. Children 16 and over may participate if accompanied by an adult. Work gloves will be provided or you may bring your own. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water and a snack if needed. Sunscreen, hats, and bug spray are also recommended. We will meet at the intersection of Riverside Dr and Southcliff Rd. From there we will walk to the worksite, approximately 10 minutes away. Parking is available in the 42nd St lot or on Southcliff, being sure not to block any alleys, driveways, or walkways. Carpooling is encouraged, as we will be parking in a neighborhood. Solley Curator of Prints and Drawings and Stephanie Wiles, the Henry J. Heinz II Director of the gallery. Munch and Kirchner exploited the emotional power of color and abstraction as they portrayed the harrowing, fragmented reality that accompanied the rise of the Nazi regime. While they both endured bouts of depression and struggled with substance abuse, their art demonstrated their radical visions of the modern world. Stefanie Wiles has arranged for the gallery to be opened early for this special visit, and we will continue our conversations with Freyda and Stephanie over lunch at Florian Atelier just down the street from the gallery. We have arranged a pre-fixed lunch menu at $20.00 per person payable individually at the restaurant. Yale University Art Gallery — 1111 Chapel Street false
