Solley Curator of Prints and Drawings and Stephanie Wiles, the Henry J. Heinz II Director of the gallery. Munch and Kirchner exploited the emotional power of color and abstraction as they portrayed the harrowing, fragmented reality that accompanied the rise of the Nazi regime. While they both endured bouts of depression and struggled with substance abuse, their art demonstrated their radical visions of the modern world. Stefanie Wiles has arranged for the gallery to be opened early for this special visit, and we will continue our conversations with Freyda and Stephanie over lunch at Florian Atelier just down the street from the gallery. We have arranged a pre-fixed lunch menu at $20.00 per person payable individually at the restaurant. Yale University Art Gallery — 1111 Chapel Street false
