A special talk by James Prosek '97, award-winning artist, naturalist and writer, whose exhibit, Art, Artifact, Artifice brings together objects from the collections of the Yale University Art Gallery, the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History, and the Yale Center for British Art. Following his talk, James will join us at the exhibit for informal conversation about his work. James was the 2018 Happy and Bob Doran Artist-in-Residence at the Gallery; you may also enjoy visiting the Happy and Bob Doran Gate, built for the Gallery by architect Paul Discoe during his own residency.
