On average every day 11 Canadians are diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), an unpredictable illness that affects vision, balance, memory, and mobility.

Every person participating in and/or fundraising for the MS Walk makes a lasting positive impact. To participate in this walk you are not under any obligation to fundraise or make a donation; awareness and education are a large part of the MS mission.

Volunteers should join team Mighty Strong through the registration link. Enter YDOS into the field for 'how long have you been part' on the registration form, so we know who you are.

The Yale-Jefferson Awards are presented annually, recognizing sustained public service that is individual, innovative, impactful, and inspiring. The recipients are three Yalies – a Yale College student, a graduate or professional school student, and a member of the alumni body – all of whom have demonstrated service that draws on the Yale community and benefits the world beyond Yale.

Join us for this kick-off event as part of Celebrate Service Week, as we honor the 2022 award winners. They have made an impact in so many ways – providing leadership in service to elders, providing educational and health resources to orphans and other vulnerable populations, and strengthening and supporting the New Haven community.

In this virtual interactive session, we will celebrate these honorees with a virtual awards ceremony followed by a fireside chat, where they will share their stories and discuss the impact of their service engagement. In addition, our award participants will talk about their work in the context of today's challenges, including the COVID landscape, and ways to get involved.
