      We will explore life in theater management in conversation with Suzanne Appel ’11 MBA/MFA, Managing Director, Vineyard Theater in NYC. Suzanne has played a crucial role in developing the theater, stabilizing its finances through Covid, all while enabling artistic leadership which has successfully led to three plays transferred to Broadway. We will discuss Suzanne’s career, life in the theater, and the role Yale played in her journey.

      The Vineyard Theater is a vibrant and growing off-broadway theater company. The theater currently has in performance “Scene Partners”, directed by Rachel Chavkin, Director of the Tony Award winning Hadestown, and starring Acadamy Award winner Dianne Wiest.

The creativity brought to bear post financial crisis spawned tremendous activity in digital finance. The most recent milestone is the SEC’s approval of Bitcoin ETFs. But digital finance is much more than Bitcoin. Douglas moved into digital finance after a successful career in foreign exchange trading. He took an early view on how digital finance would evolve. We will discuss his experience in “TradFi” and “DeFi”.
